Dr. Alan Holden grew up in Walhalla, SC. He was saved at age 12 when he accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior during revival meetings in his home church, Coneross Baptist Church.

After college and seminary, Dr. Holden pastored his first church in Rochester, New York, where he met his wife, Cathy. She is from San Antonio, TX.
Pastor Alan has three earned doctoral degrees: Doctor of Ministry in counseling; Doctor of Philosophy degree in education; and a Doctor of Theology degree in Metaphysics. Pastor Alan is also a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor. 
Pastor Alan emphasizes an understanding of the Old Testament in order to avoid improper interpretations of the New Testament according to current culture.  He believes that God and His Word do not change.

Cathy is a talented soloist and  budding author. For many years she ran a website ministry, www.truthminers.com, debunking urban legends and myths with the truth and facts. Cathy is now devoting time to writing a book.  Her goal is to help equip college age young adults to combat ecumenical humanism and post-modernism with truth and facts through development of a Biblical worldview.  She also helps to run the audio/visual ministry, is a choir member and a soloist.

Bro. Ed Eilenberger is our Pastor of Prayer Ministries.  Bro. Ed is the founder of a world-wide prayer ministry called Omega Prayer Ministry.  He has been a prayer warrior for over 50 years.  Bro. Ed teaches prayer seminars and supervises the prayer ministry of Midway Church.  His experience is a valuable asset to our church’s ministry.
Bro. Ed grew up and lived in metropolitan New York City.  He worked for the New York City Transit Authority, supervising the electrical repair and overhaul of New York’s subway cars.
Bro. Ed became a Christian during the Billy Graham Evangelistic Crusade in New York in 1957.  Since then, Bro. Ed attended Southern Methodist University and received a degree in biblical studies in 1962.
